About me
Funwi Tita is the founder and owner of Better Greens LLC and President of the Minnesota African Immigrant Farmers Association (MAIFA). He is a farmer, entrepreneur, and food systems advocate dedicated to increasing access to culturally significant foods while creating economic opportunities for immigrant and underserved farmers. Through his work, Funwi helps build stronger local food systems by connecting farmers to markets, promoting sustainable agriculture, and demonstrating how food preserves culture, strengthens identity, and fosters a sense of belonging across diverse communities.
