About me
Erin Schutte Wadzinski was a 2020-2021 Initiators Fellow. Through this fellowship, she founded Kivu Immigration Law PLLC, a social enterprise law firm in her rural hometown of Worthington, Minnesota. Kivu Law provides flat-rate, below market-rate immigration legal services to immigrants, their families, and their employers. Currently, Kivu Law consists of 20 full-time employees and is the only law firm in southwest Minnesota to practice exclusively immigration law. Currently, Erin is creating the Kivu Children's Foundation, a non-profit to further reduce barriers for children and youth to access legal representation. Outside of work, Erin is an elected school board member for Worthington Public Schools and is an appointed Commissioner on the Worthington Planning and Zoning Commission.
